Overview and General information about POPREP

POPREP is a Windows Service that allows you
to retrieve and consolidate email from one or many POP3 or OWA/Outlook Web Mail
EWS/Microsoft Exchange mailboxes.
POPREP allow you to:
Share ONE POP3 or Microsoft Exchange Mailbox for a
whole company/domain (Many ISP's includes a shared mailbox as part of their
service, using POPREP to retrieve such mailbox allows you to forward them to
induvidual mailboxes on your local Mail server.
Retrieve emails from MULTIPLE POP3, OWA (Outlook
Web Access) and EWS (Microsoft Exchange Web Services) mailboxes, and send them
to a single mailbox.
POPREP forwards all emails using the SMTP
protocol, meaning it can be used with virtually any target Mail System, for
example all versions of Microsoft Exchange (5.5, 2000, 2003, 2007, 2007, 2010,
2013), iMail, Zimbra, Sendmail, etc.
Using it's built in scripting host (for VB or J -
Script), you can associate an event script with a connector, giving you full control over the in flight mail. The script can for example have rules to determine if, and to who the
mail should be forwarded, detect spam or profound language, call an AV scanner etc.
POPREP allows you to create unlimited number of connectors.
POPREP can be used free of charge for 40
days.
POPREP can be licenced at 3 different levels
depending on your requirements.
Enterprise Edition
- Unlimited active connectors.
- Group (Domain) and single user POP3, OWA or EWS - Microsoft Exchange Mail Boxes
supported.
- Event Scripts Supported.
Personal Edition
- Maximum 25 active connectors.
- The source POP3, OWA or EWS - Microsoft Exchange
Mail Boxe can be for a single user only.
Entry Edition
- Maximum 1 active connectors.
- The source POP3, OWA or EWS - Microsoft Exchange
Mail Boxe can be for a single user only.
